The Stupid Hippo Head: A Short Melodrama

Celeste depicts the human struggle and reaching for dreams just out of reach. This is her first major interpretive work.

Time Machine

I borrowed Uncle Rico's time machine and was able to travel into the future and see what Jackson would look like in 3-1/2 years:

Temple Slideshow

Here is the low resolution version of the temple slideshow I've been working on. I may find an excuse to use it in my family history class.

Stuffed Animal Cam

I noticed that Grammy Goose had a link to the falcon cam in Boise. That reminded me that I also have a web cam link. It is called Stuffed Animal Cam. I have it set up pointed at my bed so that while I am at work, I can see what they are up to.

Wendover

Katrina, Colin, Jackson and I drove to Wendover, Nevada for a spring drive, because we could. These are Wendover Butterflies.

Nikon D90

I have ordered my new camera: Not like "I am going to China"- ordered a camera, but really ordered it. It should be here Monday or Tuesday. They are shipping it to my office. I am super excited. I ordered it through Costco because I wanted to avoid the whole grey market. It is a few hundred dollars cheaper than at the camera store. The best feature of the Nikon D90 is the ISO. It has a 3200 ISO, which means that it is really good at taking non-grainy low light photos. It also has a movie feature, which could be interesting with a wide-angle lense. It comes with a versatile 18-105mm lense. I am thinking about finding a used telephoto lense to go with it. We could take pictures of wildlife with it. I still don't to weddings. Engagement announcements are negotiable.

Food Court Sneak Peak

I was up in Rexburg this week. The food court is really coming along. You can see the porceline tile on the floors, the accent paint on the walls and the soffit over the salad bar. The hope is that it can open for the new school year this fall.
