New Web Cam Software

I think that I will quit my job and play with this program all day. It is called CyberLink YouCam, and it came on my computer.

Donut Falls

Katie and I went snowshoeing up Big Cotton Wood Canyon to Donut Falls. It is a waterfall in a cave at the top of a canyon. It was so nice and warm. We gave a skiier a lift back up to his car.

Bear Claws

Along with the donut theme: Life is better with a bear claw in your mouth.

Yak Burgers

I am up in Idaho working on my project this week. We went to Big Judds in Archer for dinner. I ate 1/3 of a Big Judd. None of us ordered Yak burgers.

More Fiber?

Good John Quote

Talking to John on the phone while he and Julia were in the backyard:

"Julia, you can eat grass, but don't eat those; I think that they are poison."

Nice Anthony

I just got on facebook. Within hours, a guy named Anthony from New Mexico asked me to be his friend. I knew two Anthonys; one nice, one mean. I instant-messaged Leslee Sowards from New Mexico tonight. He is listed as her friend. I asked her if he was the nice or the mean one. She laughed. "He is definitely the nice one. He is the one who dressed up like Bart Simpson in 7th grade for Halloween, and the yellow paint took two weeks to wear off".

He is my new friend.

Sun Spot Cycle

I found this link on that Sun Spot site that shows a cycle for sun activity. It appears that we are in an absolute trough for sun spot activities. If I can just hold on to my excitement until 2015, My chances of seeing the northern lights will drastically improve. That night in 2001 that we saw the lights was during the last sun spot peak. Oh well. On the bright side, my chances of seeing the northern lights can only improve from here on out.

A New Problem

My desk is upstairs at work. Restrooms, printers and other things are downstairs. I go upstairs and downstairs all day. This has never been an issue. Lately, I have so many deadlines and issues in my head that I am trying to deal with at once that my mind gets into this crazy go-go-go mode. This is essential for work, but bad for stairs. My mind has me 3 steps in front of myself, when my body wants to go down the stairs one step at a time, like a normal person. It is the weirdest thing. I have to hold on to the handrail and think about taking one step at a time. This approach might just be a good philosophy for life in general.
